If you are an outdoor loving kind of person who is married to a movie loving and into the arts scene type of person who loves artisan jewelry and sundance jewelry, there is one place you should go to during the month of January. You must head to Park City, Utah where you can have many selections of world class skiing conditions in addition to attending the Sundance Film Festival. They also have some ice skating rinks as well as tubing hills that are a great break for skiing or snowboarding for the whole day. More than 50,000 people visit Park City or surrounding cities like Salt Lake City or Ogden to take part in the Sundance Film Festival. In January the Film Festival committee chooses 200 films out of more than 9,000 entries to be screened. For movie buffs, this is a total slice of heaven getting to see so many unusual types of film over several days time. January is the perfect time to be in this quaint mountain town where the sun is shining and the white snow is covering the mountain tops. The movie star, Robert Redford started this great film festival many years ago to recognize all of those smaller film makers that exist in this country and to celebrate their work.
